Typical to keep my body free of bugs and mosquitos when outdoors either gardening, entertaining, or simply spending time with the kids, I often use an all-natural bug spray (that a good friend of mine makes & I adore). I really dislike using a strong over-the-counter spray, like Deet, because its not great for the skin. Additionally, to keep the sur rounding areas of our outdoor space bug-free, I like to light citronella and of course, try to be perfume-free. Those pesky critters like our sweet smells.

I recently learned through reading an article by One Kings Lane, that there are certain plants + flowers that actually help in repelling those annoying bugs. Maybe Im new to this, but I had no idea. How cool is that?!
